Basic reasoning - Essay Example Another meaning of basic reasoning is that given by Michael Scriven and Richard Paul, in an introduction at the eighth Annual International Conference on Critical Thinking and Education Reform, Summer of 1987.They characterized basic speculation as the mentally trained method of dynamic and dexterous conceptualization, application, investigation and assessment of information gathered by watching, encountering, reflecting, thinking, and imparting, as a direction to accepting and acting. Paul and Elder (2008), characterizes the term as Critical suspecting as the perspective - about something, where the individual who is thinking builds up the nature of their speculation by being handy when dealing with the structures engaged with intuition and driving scholarly guidelines on them. In my comprehension, consequently, basic reasoning methods, considering some fresh possibilities, having inventive considerations, and disguising the contemplations. characteristics I search for in companions Friends are a fundamental factor in our live, similarly as a principle dish in a dinner. In all honesty, I have a great deal of companions. However, I don’t know whether they are true or simply deceptive. Some of the time, I can’t truly make sense of. Yet at the same time, I or should I say everybody, wishes to have companions with great characteristics. As indicated by what William Penn says:† A genuine companion unreservedly, prompts evenhandedly, helps promptly, undertakings intensely, takes all persistently, shields fearlessly, and proceeds with a companion unchangeably. † Penn attempts to state that a genuine and an old buddy have a substantial characteristics, which each companion search for it on his/her friend. To be straightforward, trusted, mindful, and amusing is characteristics I search for when I pick my companion. Initially, I need a steadfast companion. Somebody who is straightforward enough with me. I mean is simply enlighten me honestly what they think regarding me that can assist me with changing myself into a superior individual. Somebody who wound me in the front. Who never lie at me and never drawn a subsequent face. A fair companion loan me the certainty when I lost. Or then again even can assist me with doing the proper thing not an inappropriate one. Henry, Patrick

Henry, Patrick Henry, Patrick, 1736â€"99, political leader in the American Revolution, b. Hanover co., Va. Largely self-educated, he became a prominent trial lawyer. Henry bitterly denounced (1765) the Stamp Act and in the years that followed helped fan the fires of revolt in the South. As an orator he knew no equal. Several phrases attributed to himâ€"e.g., If this be treason, make the most of it and Give me liberty or give me death â€"are familiar to all Americans. Henry became a leader among the so-called radicals and spoke clearly for individual liberties. He was a delegate to the house of burgesses (1765â€"74), the Continental Congress (1774â€"76), and the Virginia provincial convention (1775). His hopes for a military career in the American Revolution were frustrated, but as governor of Virginia (1776â€"79) he sent George Rogers Clark to the Illinois country. He was (1784â€"86) again governor and led the fight for the Virginia Religious Freedom Act of 1785. Although he later became a Fe deralist, Henry opposed ratification of the U.S. Constitution, believing that it endangered state sovereignty, and he worked successfully to have the first 10 amendments (Bill of Rights) added to the Constitution. Analysis Of The English Class, My Eyes Opened At New...

Over the course of the English 1B class, my eyes opened to new techniques and to consider new ways to improve my writing. Throughout this course, my class was assigned four essays all of which asking different questions. Some of the essay were more difficult than another because it required more work and research; however, writing these essays helped me to grow as a better writer. During these essay writing process, I was able to grab a sense of what is and what is not essential when writing an essay and to remember to avoid diverging from the essay topic itself. Out of the four essays- Arguing a Position, Proposing a Solution Justifying an Evaluation, and Analyzing Stories- I believed that Justifying an Evaluation was the easiest for me to write. Compared to the other essays, this essay did not require as much work and research as the other essays that required me to find many sources online or offline. Especially because I wrote on the film, Frozen, which was a movie I had already seen and enjoyed, it was easier for me to be more engaged in this essay. I found it a little bit more time-consuming, however, because for a film that I have already viewed many times, I had to re-watch it only now to consider and to analyze the different ways film makers made the movie. The hardest essay to write was Proposing a Solution because I felt that there was already an answer to my question and I did not bring any new points. Also, researching for this essay topic was a lot moreShow MoreRelatedCritical Narrative And Story Telling Style897 Words   |  4 PagesEnglish 2201 helped me discover not only myself as a writer, but allowed me to go more in depth with learning how to write in the field of my intended discipline. Once he offers a nice sum of money to buy Foirals house, however, the stranger is treated with a new attitude. He is still not completely accepted by the community that he has moved into, but he does wield a new type of power simply because only he can produce cash from paper billets. With his magic cheques, though, the stranger creates a tension that grows into an economic struggle between himself and his community.†¦show more content†¦This knowledge of cheques that the stranger has over Foiral and the community increases the tension between them. Ironically, tragically, their righteous ambition leads to their own destruction. With the stranger dead, the people of the community help themselves to his cheques. Money begins to exchange hands as goods are bought and deals are made. The progress of economic development comes to the village. No one is afraid to dig up the money that they have saved because as soon as the cheques are cashed there will be no worries, and the town can continue to prosper. But as every man meditates on their two of these excellent billets, they begin to feel that they were too rich to speak to each other (71, 72). Conflict grows between one-time friends as they argue over what is to be bought and sold. Greed has come to town with the artist and his witchs money. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is an organization of seven emirates while India is a government republic. (Difference Between India and UEA, n.d) 2. Both have been under British tenet with India picking up freedom in 1947 while the UAE picked up autonomy in 1971. (Difference Between India and UEA, n.d) 3. Both have prime ministers who are delegated by their presidents, however while the President of India is chosen, the President of the UAE is picked among the seven emirs. (Difference Between India and UEA, n.d) 4. Both have three branches of government; the executive, governing body, and legal, yet they contrast in creation and capacities. (Difference Between India and UEA, n.d) 5. The Constitution of the UAE is concerned just with the relations between the emirates while the Constitution of India administers the nation. (Difference Between India and UEA, n.d) 6. The UAE is more financially steady than India and is additionally less crowded. (Difference Between India and UEA, n.d) UAE as a nation has a rich legacy and different society of its own. Through the years, the inflow of the ostracize populace and the quantity of multinational organizations have expanded altogether. Understanding neighbourhood society and connections with other exile societies is vital for achievement. The ostracize model has paid rich profits to the nation by giving a talented work power, particularly from Asian nations. Ostracizes have increased as far as better living norms and better wage in the UAE. In a multi social business setting, ostracizes with diverse foundations, society and esteem frameworks frequently see business morals in an unexpected way. At the point when individuals don't impart the same foundations then there is a plausibility of misconceptions and clashes in the association. The state of mind towards business morals might likewise shift so incredibly in arriving at agreement on morals crosswise over societies. It might be that an accord on morals crosswise over societies is not by any means prescribed (Donaldson and Dunfee, 1999). In this circumstance the distinctions in society must be contemplated and decently regarded (Randi, 2006). Improvements have affected inconspicuous changes in the social status and implications of Indian foods, occurring generally outside the scope of vision of nutritionists, ethnographers and editorialists composing on sustenance or restaurants. (Nandi, 2004) Few appear mindful that the conventional concerns of ethnography of sustenance the cooked and the crude, the unadulterated and the dirtied, commensality and its unlucky deficiency, the blessed and the profane have united now with another, more liquid governmental issues of sustenance in nations like India. (Nandi, 2004) These governmental issues are fundamentally adjusting, maybe shockingly, the relationship what's more the pecking request among foods that may have recognized one another's vicinity for quite a long time, however never as reluctant, self-sufficient, decently limited culinary customs. That new mindfulness is presenting new subcultures of sustenance, status amusements among culinary customs, and another political eco nomy of open and private eating. India now appears dead set to demonstrate Philip Mcmichael (2004) privilege when he says, Eating regimens have a political history confined by class, social and royal relations. Creature protein utilization signs climbing prosperity and copying of Western eating regimens. Development up the natural way of life progressive system (from starch, to grain, to creature protein and vegetables) is related to advancement'. Most importantly, the new mindfulness is permitting another sort of legislative issues of 'legitimacy', not inside the societies being presented to globalization, yet inside the overwhelming society of worldwide cosmopolitanism, determined by the thoughts of an outsider that is commonplace and the fascinating that is open. In this sense, the significant issues that now puppy Indian cooking is definitely, not fundamentally not the same as the inquiries that puppy Indian social life as a rule (Nandi, 2004). The shapes of this life are progre ssively characterized not only inside the land limits of India yet by, what most Indians consider, the less well known domain of Indianness as a type of ethnicity that is being re-foreign made from the diasporas into India to reshape numerous spaces of life, including the societies of nourishment inside the nation. Various crossing issues appear to rule this redefinition; we should focus on just four of them: the changing thought of legitimacy as it stops the limits of ethnic sustenance, the development of fast food as another kind inside which a few foods have an edge over others, the slow crystallization of new high and low societies of foods that are globalized or can be given a bigger regional and social range, and the growing inclination to re-vision ethnic sustenance more like the marker of a society as a synecdoche or an alternative to culture. (Nandi, 2004) Implications of Cultural Differences Dubai is an advanced city that invites guests from across the globe. In contrary to this, as Dubai is also known as a Muslim city, religious considerations are also evident in the standard of clothing and respect of people in the society. Religion assumes a noteworthy part in the society of Dubai. The city is a hub to Mosques and it is very often that people petitioning to God in the mosques can be heard (dubai, 2013). Even a vacationer not from Muslim background has the feasibility of visiting the mosques and most vacationers have accepted that the Jumeriah mosque is the greatest one among all (dubai, 2013). Ramadan is a mainstream time of year to visit Dubai; albeit all occupants and guests must forgo consuming or drinking out in the open in sunshine hours, it is a magnificent time to experience the nearby society and solid religious legacy of the city. (dubai, 2013) Non-Muslims may consume and drink in assigned ranges, and numerous inns and shopping centers will have different outlets that stay open amid Ramadan. (dubai, 2013) Comparison of Business Models in India and Dubai At the point when a business undertaking imports merchandise from different nations, fares its items to them or makes ventures abroad, it bargains in foreign exchange. (Gov. of India, 2014) In India, all exchanges that incorporate foreign exchange were directed by Foreign Exchange Regulations Act (Fera),1973. (Gov. of India, 2014)The principle goal of FERA was protection and legitimate use of the foreign exchange assets of the nation. (Gov. of India, 2014) It likewise looked to control certain parts of the behaviour of business outside the nation by Indian organizations and in India by remote organizations. (Gov. of India, 2014)It was a criminal enactment which implied that its infringement would prompt detainment and instalment of overwhelming fine. It had numerous prohibitive statements which discouraged outside speculations. (Gov. of India, 2014) Notwithstanding the likelihood of setting up in one of Dubai's various free zones, universal organizations wishing to work together in Dubai may join or register a neighbourhood substance under the Companies Law or the Civil Code, enlist a limb or agent office of a remote organization or go into a business org association with a UAE national. (Tarbuck Lester, 2009). Further, each of these structures has impediments on the extent of allowed exercises. Most outstandingly, an agent office might by and large just perform promoting and managerial capacities for sake of a remote guardian, and a limb office might for the most part just participate in exercises which include the advancement of the aptitudes and ability of the individual leading the business. (Tarbuck Lester, 2009) Business authorizing is especially essential in the UAE and Dubai. Any individual wishing to work together in Dubai (other than through authorized specialists) obliges a permit and the permit affects on the exten t of the exercises that the licence bearer may bear on. Likewise with most different wards, certain areas of the UAE and Dubai economy are liable to more stringent authorizing prerequisites than others. As a sample, universal organizations wishing to bear on saving money or most other monetary administrations in Dubai and outside the DIFC oblige a permit from the UAE Central Bank and the allowing of such licenses is entirely directed. Also, a predetermined number of exercises, for example, land business, are limited to UAE national. (Tarbuck Lester, 2009) The essential necessity for all business action in the UAE is one of three classifications of permit, business, expert or Industrial. These licenses are issued by the Department of Economic Development of every Emirate (this may change from Emirate to Emirate). (Igarashi, n.d) On the other hand, licenses for a few classes of business oblige approbation from specific services and different powers. Case in point, banks and financial establishments oblige unique approbation from the Central Bank, media companies oblige uncommon endorsement from the National Media Council, and assembling companies oblige exceptional regard from the Ministry of Finance. In any case, in the free zones diverse sorts of licenses are reachable and accessible and these differ from free zone to free zone. The following are the diverse sorts of licenses accessible at, for instance, the Jebel Ali Free Zone, which is situated in Dubai (Igarashi, n.d). The length of an organization directs its business inside the Jebel Ali Free Zone, the organization is not needed to acquire a permit from the Department of Economic Development. (Igarashi, n.d) General Trading License: This sort of permit permits the holder to import, fare, disperse and store all things according to Jafza guidelines and regulations. This organization permit empowers the holder to exchange inside the free zone and not outside it; for that it would need to delegate wholesalers on the fundamental area. Trading License:This kind of permit permits the holder to import, fare, disperse and store the specific things defined in the permit. This organization permit empowers the holder to exchange inside the free zone and not outside it. Formal enlistment of companies has numerous quick advantages for the companies and for entrepreneurs and representatives. (World Bank, 2014)Legitimate substances can outlast their originators. Assets are pooled as a few shareholders unite to begin an organization. Formally enrolled companies have admittance to administrations and establishments from courts to banks and in addition to new markets. Furthermore their representatives can advantage from assurances gave by the law. An extra advantage accompanies restricted risk companies. This farthest point the financial obligation of organization holders to their speculations, so individual resources of the managers are not put at danger. (World Bank, 2014) Where governments make enrolment simple, more business people begin organizations in the formal segment, making all the more great occupations and producing more income for the government . (World Bank, 2014) Implications of differences in finance and banking systems, legal systems, and business ethics Indias financial part is enhanced and growing quickly. It involves business banks, insurance agencies, non-banking financial companies, cooperatives, annuities reserves, shared trusts and other littler financial substances. (LOK SABHA SECRETARIAT, 2013) In India, it is a bank ruled financial part and business banks represent in excess of 60 percent of the aggregate resources of the financial framework emulated by the Insurance. (LOK SABHA SECRETARIAT, 2013)Other bank mediators incorporate provincial rustic banks and helpful banks that focus under overhauled country and urban populaces. Numerous non banking finance companies (NBFC) work in specific portions (renting, calculating, micro account, foundation finance), however some can acknowledge stores. (LOK SABHA SECRETARIAT, 2013) Benefits procurement covers 12 percent of the working populace and comprises of common administration game plans, a necessary plan for formal private area representatives, and private plan offered through insurance agencies. (LOK SABHA SECRETARIAT, 2013). Each of these legal considerations play an important role in an organizations efficient establishment. The regulation and supervision of the financial framework in India is completed by distinctive administrative powers. (LOK SABHA SECRETARIAT, 2013) The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) controls and regulates the real piece of the financial framework. The supervisory part of the RBI covers business banks, urban helpful banks (UCBs), some financial establishments and non-banking finance companies (NBFCs). (LOK SABHA SECRETARIAT, 2013)A portion of the financial organizations, thus, manage or direct different foundations in the financial division, for example, Regional Rural Banks and the Co-agent banks are directed by National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD); and lodging finance companies by National Housing Bank(NHB). (LOK SABHA SECRETARIAT, 2013) Bureau of Company Affairs (DCA), Government of India directs store taking exercises of corporate, other than NBFCS. (LOK SABHA SECRETARIAT, 2013)Enlisted under companies Act, however not those which are under partitioned statut es. The Registrar of Cooperatives of distinctive states on account of single state cooperatives and the Central Government on account of multi-state cooperatives are joint controllers, with the RBI for UCBs, and with NABARD for country cooperatives. (LOK SABHA SECRETARIAT, 2013). On the other hand, in Dubai, Since mid-2000 the UAE, and specifically Dubai, has secured itself as the territorial financial focus and banking center in the Middle East, a position which in the past decades was held by Beirut and, all the more as of late, Bahrain. Dubai's status as a global banking focus gets from its expansive habitat for re-exports, to a great degree great financial and interchanges base and high political steadiness. There are 23 generally joined business banks working in UAE since 2011 with approximately 768 branches, thought about to 28 outside keeps money with 110 delegate business locales enrolled. 24 fund companies, 22 venture companies, and 119 authorized cash changers keep up practically 628 extensions are found in the UAE After the global financial emergency, Dubai has recuperated and reinforced its position as a banking focus in the Middle East, Africa, and past over the previous years, likewise due to the political turmoil in a few nations in the Middle East. Moreover, Dubai operates on the fundamentals of Islamic Banking, which is quite different from the conventional banking system in India. Financial institutions in Islam are still operating in a society wherein work is performed by routine banking and every capability to function normally is performed in order to establish finances affirmatively. Business worlds are aided by IFIs by presenting all those administrators who will be required for efficient functioning of Islamic economy. In India, all exchanges that incorporate foreign exchange were directed by Foreign Exchange Regulations Act (Fera),1973. (Gov. of India, 2014)The principle goal of FERA was protection and legitimate use of the foreign exchange assets of the nation. (Gov. of India, 2014) It likewise looked to control certain parts of the behaviour of business outside the nation by Indian organizations and in India by remote organizations. (Gov. of India, 2014)It was a criminal enactment which implied that its infringement would prompt detainment and instalment of overwhelming fine. Additionally, the reason and operation taking place have differences. In this section of the report, IFIs operations and results with regard to conventional banks traditionally will be done. Any framework from financial institution is n eeded for supporting an economy to run smoothly. The starting step will be comprised of preparing to save the expenses from spenders and providing the sole responsibility of the expenses to visionaries of business. Secondly, focus will be laid on general utility provision with regard to trust exchanges administrations that can help in facilitating exchanges universally. Conclusions Indian food has been in presence for a few hundreds of years and has developed through time to maintain the image of Indian society. It is known for its multifaceted mixing of fascinating flavours, veggies, and meat to make one genuinely delicious dish. History and flavour, that is really tricky to top. It's no big surprise Indian restaurants have become in notoriety throughout the years. Nobody in the restaurant business has a widespread offer. It is difficult to seize the full 100% of the business sector. Endeavouring such a mammoth objective will just result to disappointment. The market's taste and inclination is as differing as it is wide. Reasonably talking, a restaurateur can just tap around five to ten percent of the aggregate purchaser populace pie. UAE as a nation has a rich legacy and different society of its own. Through the years, the inflow of the ostracize populace and the quantity of multinational organizations have expanded altogether. Understanding neighbourhood soc iety and connections with other exile societies is vital for achievement. On the off chance that an outsider wishes to do business in the UAE yet does not wish to keep up a physical vicinity in the UAE it may go into a business organization association with a completely neighborhood claimed substance or UAE national. Business operators are for the most part utilized by outside producers and dealers who are occupied with the huge scale importation of products into the UAE all the time. Under a business office, the outside business and the business operators consent to the terms of the business commission, the region of the distributorship (at least, this would be one Emirate) and the term of the relationship. In the event that the business specialists enroll the agreement with the Ministry of Economy and Commerce the operators can acquire the different insurances stood to operators under the UAE Commercial Agencies Law. While the business and legal systems and even at times cultural traditions may differ between India and Dubai, opening an Indian restaurant could be a favourable proposition to the owners at Tadka. This is mainly because there is a huge demand for Indian cuisine worldwide, and with Dubai being an established tourist destination, it would obviously add to the glamour of the city. Moreover, as discussed earlier, Dubai is home to a lot of expatriates from the Indian subcontinent, who would obviously be regular customers at the restaurant. With the recent run of successes for the restaurant Tadka in India, it would not come as a surprise if the restaurant would quickly grow in Dubai, and, perhaps, even expand into other parts of UAE such as Sharjah and Abu-Dhabi or even the neighbouring Arab countries such as Qatar, Saudi Arabia etc. From this perspective, the restaurant will also be a success in Dubai due to the similarity in external environment between the home and the host country. Geography Colorado River Geographers Can Tell You That The One Thing T

Geography Colorado River Geographers can tell you that the one thing that most rivers and their adjacent flood plains in the world have in common is that they have rich histories associated with human settlement and development. This especially true in arid regions which are very dependent upon water. Two excellent examples are the Nile and the Tigris-Euphrates rivers which show use the relationship between rivers and concentrations of people. However, the Colorado River is not such a good example along most segments of its course. There is no continuous transportation system that parallels the rivers course, and settlements are clustered. The rugged terrain and entrenched river channels are the major reasons for sparse human settlement. We ask ourselves, did the Colorado River help or hinder settlement in the Western United States? As settlers began to move westward, the Southwest was considered to be a place to avoid. Few considered it a place to traverse, to spread Christianity, a nd a possible source of furs or mineral wealth. Finding a reliable or accessible water source, and timber for building was difficult to find. There was a lack of land that could be irrigated easily. By the turn of the century, most present day cities and towns were already established. Trails, roads, and railroads linked several areas with neighboring regions. Although the Colorado River drainage system was still not integrated. In the mid 1900's many dams had been built to harness and use the water. A new phase of development occurred at the end of the second World War. There was a large emphasis on recreation, tourism, and environmental preservation. The terrain of the Colorado River is very unique. It consists of Wet Upper Slopes, Irregular Transition Plains and Hills, Deep Canyonlands, and the Dry Lower Plains. Wet Upper Slopes: Consist of numerous streams that feed into the Colorado River from stream cut canyons, small flat floored valleys often occupied by alpine lakes and ad jacent steep walled mountain peaks. These areas are heavily forested and contain swiftly flowing streams, rapids, and waterfalls. These areas have little commercial value except as watershed, wildlife habitat, forest land, and destinations for hikers, fishermen, and mountaineers. Irregular Transition Plains and Hills: These areas are favorable for traditional economic development. It consists of river valleys with adequate flat land to support farms and ranches. Due to the rolling hills, low plateaus, and mountain slopes, livestock grazing is common. The largest cities of the whole drainage system are found here. Deep Canyonlands: Definitely the most spectacular and least developed area along the Colorado River. These deep gorges are primarily covered by horizontal layers of sedimentary rocks, of which sand stone is the most abundant. The Grand Canyon does not only display spectacular beauty, but numerous other features such as mesas, buttes, spires, balancing rocks, natural arches and bridges, sand dunes, massive sandstone walls, and pottholed cliffs. Dry Lower Plains: These consist of the arid desert areas. These areas encounter hot summers and mild winters. Early settlement was limited because most of the land next to the river was not well suited for irrigation agriculture. The area is characterized by limited flat land, poor soils, poor drainage, and too hot of conditions for most traditional crops. The Colorado River was first navigated by John Wesley Powell, in his 1869 exploration through the Marble and Grand Canyons. The Colorado River begins high in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. The water begins from melting snow and rain, and is then supplemented by the Gunnison, Green, San Juan, Little Colorado, Virgin, and Gila Rivers. Before any dams were built, the Colorado River carried 380,000 million tons of silt to the Sea of Cortez. Along it's path, it carves out the Marble, Grand, Black, Boulder, and Topok Canyons. The Grand Canyon being the most popular, which is visited by numerous tourists every year, plays a large role in western tourism. The Grand Canyon is in fact one of the World's Seven Wonders. The Colorado Basin covers 240,000 square miles of drainage area. At certain points along the river, it turns into a raging, muddy, rapid covered mass of water. Unlike other rivers, the Colorado River doesn't meet the ocean in a grand way, but rather

The Code of Justinian (Codex Justinianus)

The Code of Justinian (Codex Justinianus) The Code of Justinian (in Latin, Codex Justinianus) is a substantial collection of laws compiled under the sponsorship of Justinian I, ruler of the Byzantine Empire. Although the laws passed during Justinians reign would be included, the Codex was not a completely new legal code, but an aggregation of existing laws, portions of the historic opinions of great Roman legal experts, and an outline of law in general. Work began on the Code shortly after Justinian took the throne in 527. While much of it was completed by the mid-530s, because the Code included new laws, parts of it were regularly revised to include those new laws, up until 565. There were four books that comprised the Code: Codex Constitutionum, the Digesta, the Institutiones and the Novellae Constitutiones Post Codicem. The Codex Constitutionum The Codex Constitutionum was the first book to be compiled. In the first few months of Justinians reign, he appointed a commission of ten jurists to review all the laws, rulings and decrees issued by the emperors. They reconciled contradictions, weeded out obsolete laws, and adapted archaic laws to their contemporary circumstances. In 529 the results of their efforts were published in 10 volumes and disseminated throughout the empire. All imperial laws not contained in the Codex Constitutionum were repealed. In 534 a revised codex was issued that incorporated the legislation Justinian had passed in the first seven years of his reign. This Codex Repetitae Praelectionis was comprised of 12 volumes. The  Digesta The Digesta (also known as the Pandectae) was begun in 530 under the direction of Tribonian, an esteemed jurist appointed by the emperor. Tribonian created a commission of 16 attorneys who combed through the writings of every recognized legal expert in imperial history. They culled whatever they though was of legal value and selected one extract (and occasionally two) on each legal point. They then combined them into an immense collection of 50 volumes, subdivided into segments according to subject. The resulting work was published in 533. Any juridical statement that wasnt included in the Digesta was not considered binding, and in future it would no longer be a valid basis for legal citation. The  Institutiones When Tribonian (along with his commission) had finished the Digesta, he turned his attention to the Institutiones. Pulled together and published in about a year, the Institutiones was a basic textbook for beginning law students. It was based on earlier texts, including some by the great Roman jurist Gaius, and provided a general outline of legal institutions. The  Novellae Constitutiones Post Codicem After the revised Codex was published in 534, the last publication, the Novellae Constitutiones Post Codicem was issued. Known simply as the Novels in English, this publication was a collection of the new laws the emperor had issued himself. It was reissued regularly until Justinians death. With the exception of the Novels, which were almost all written in Greek, the Code of Justinian was published in Latin. The Novels also had Latin translations for the western provinces of the empire. The Code of Justinian would be highly influential through much of the Middle Ages, not only with the Emperors of Eastern Rome, but with the rest of Europe.   Resources and Further Reading Grapel, William.  The Institutes of Justinian: with the Novel as to Successions. Analyzing Customer Relationship Management case Essay

Analyzing Customer Relationship Management case - Essay Example Customer relationship management is something that cannot be done haphazardly. Indeed, to achieve a workable customer relationship management, one needs to put in place a lot of factors that would come together to form what would be known as a strategic plan. Perhaps the presence of a strategic plan for customer relationship management is one major different between a customer relationship management that works and one that does not work. By a customer relationship management that works, reference is being made to a customer relationship management that goes a long way to ensure that customers are pleased and that they make decisions out of what they have seen to continue doing business with a particular company or organization. In today’s contemporary business world, a lot of business managers have only being concerned with putting to practice any customer management theory they hear without taking time to research into what each customer management theory should be made up o f. For a management that is geared towards enhancing customer relationship management for instance, such as a management would recruit all necessary components that make a strategic plan for customer relationship management workable and result oriented. Such as a strategic plan would inculcate the principles of social media team, which has been identified as one of the world’s most modern means of succeeding in customer relationship management. In the plan therefore, there are four levels of social generations for the company. These four levels may well represent five years whereby one of the levels is implemented in each of the years. The four levels of social generations are discussed below. Level 1 – Generation of Social Relationship – Year 1 Though customers are the major money makers for every business, it is important that business owners and customer relationship managers see customers as an integral and socially bonding part of their companies. Most ofte n than not, customers are seen as a reserved part of the business. For this reason, the customer is seen to be useful only when the company is sure to make some earnings from them. It has however been proven that this is an unworkable principle for maximizing the impact customers can make in a business financially. Though customers do not have defined portfolios in the running of business expect when they are shareholders,

Research in business critical analysis Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1500 words

Research in business critical analysis - Essay Example Trend in the wave of globalization, with its effects of unifying behaviour and practices across the world however promises to bridge the diversity gap and it is important to understand the extent of existing gap in order to succeed in foreign operations. This review focuses on developed information on ethical and legal environments in the East Asia to inform a study that seeks to identify significant legal and ethical factors in the region. Review History of legal and ethical environments in East Asia International law establishes the basis for legal factors in a multinational corporation’s environment. An organization that operates in the international scope is subject to treaties between the host country and the countries in which the corporation operates. Secondary to the treaties may be laws in the host country and laws in the countries of operation and these requires knowledge of contemporary legal environment for a multinational corporation in order to integrate all appl icable laws in the organization’s scope of operations. Some of the bases of legal requirements for the multinational corporations, according to Mayer and O’Toole, have been â€Å"bribery, competition, cronyism, and public governance,† human rights and fair treatment of stakeholders (2013, p. 159). History of the East Asia region suggests existence of longitudinal and cross sectional differences in the region’s macro-environment to require a point analysis. Political environment in the region has changed with secondary effects on social, economic, and legal issues and this suggest legal and ethical environment in the region are dynamic. Differences in social perceptions across the region’s countries also mean that applicable ethical issues may vary and multinational corporations that operate of intend to operate in the region must be sensitive to such differences, however small they may seem. The legal environment that remains susceptible to politic al forces also remain dynamic within and across countries and multinational corporations must not only be informed of existing legislations, but must be mindful of the level of volatility of political environments in each member country of the East Asia region. Existence of many levels of legislative authority such as regional and bilateral and incorporation of the region’s developed legislation in international agreement with countries that wish to trade with members of the region explain diversity in the legal environments. This is because the regulations by the different levels remain binding on operations within their jurisdictions and the vast number of such levels in the region means that numerous regulations exist and the regulations may change with changes in leadership within each level of legislative authority (Ebrey, Waithall and Palais 2009, p. 20; Cheng and Cheng 2010, p. 12, 13). Dynamism in the values, which could be effective on ethical values among the region ’s natives and ethical obligations among foreign corporations, has also been reported in the area. Expansion of the region’s economic potentials in the 1990s let to infiltration from other cultures such as the West. Western values and formalities became benchmark and led to criticisms of the region’s values and practices. Even though the region managed to resist assimilation of the western culture in total, the two cultures have

Pepsi marketing plan and business strategy

Pepsi marketing plan and business strategy As a student of strategic marketing, we have asked to make a marketing plan for an organization along with its relation to overall business strategy. For this purpose we have chose PEPSI and we shall be discussing its operations in Pakistan, PEPSI has been market leader in beverage industry since its launch in Pakistan but bow a major threat is been faces by aggressive marketing strategies by Coke. In the below mentioned lines we shall be discussing the marketing strategies to overcome such challenges. Marketing Plan Business Strategy Marketing plan and business strategy are two different things, business strategy or organizational objectives give the direction that where this organization will be going and how we are going to do business, in this sense business objectives play the role of very fundamental principles upon which all the departments establish their operational guidelines. On the other hand marketing plan is the tool to achieve the business objectives, while business objective tells what we are going to do marketing plan tells how we are going to do that. This makes a clear relationship between marketing plan and business strategy, where business strategy plays the role of guiding arrows (Wison, Gilligan, 1999). Since there are different kinds of business strategies, three of them are more popular, cost leadership, differentiation and focus. Keeping this in mind there will be different marketing plans if different organizations within the same industry opt for different business strategies. Competitor form same industry may have different business strategy thus their marketing plan will differ. Where ever a marketing plan is made it should have a clear understanding and link with business strategy otherwise organization will be going in one direction and marketing department will be going in other direction resulting in complete failure (Aaker, 2008). Components of a Marketing Plan A good marketing plan can have several components, ranging from industry analysis to media plan; however it depends from industry to industry and product to product that what a marketing plan should include, it also depends on the problem at hand and urgency of the requirement. However below are few components that marketing should in normal circumstanced, addition and subtraction is dependent on the situation. Company Analysis Company analysis gives the information about the current situation of organization, it comments of strengths, weakness, opportunities and threats in front of the company, for this purpose SWOT analysis is always a good tool to work with, BCG Matrix is also and good tool to judge the performance of company. Going more deep marketing plan can also or marketing audit report to judge the current performance of marketing department and then also suggest the ways to improve it, there are many tools available to do so, details which is not required here. Industry Analysis Industry analysis provides the information about the overall industry environment, its dynamics and level of competition. To have this information PEST and Porters five forces model are widely used tools to get birds eye view about the industry. Customer Information This is a high importance, risky and tricky part, it gives basic information about customers, their liking disliking, values, decision making behaviors, demographics and consuming patterns of the product. All this information is later used in construction of marketing plan, and it is also the basic brick for the segmentation part, If we as marketer fail to know the customer properly, total marketing plan will lead to wrong decision making. Competitor Analysis This part also has a relatively high importance, gives the information about competitors, their strengths, weaknesses, competitive edge, business strategy, value proposition, positioning and product features, customers opinions about competitors and their marketing mix analysis. Having the correct information about competitor, which is not always an easy this to do, can give you a clear understanding of current market situation and also helps in making better strategically moves. Segmentation One of the most important and risky part of marketing plan is segmentation, after getting the customer analysis done via detailed marketing research, market is divided into heterogeneous segments, thats where company can make the mistake, since rest of the marketing mix is dependent of the segmentation, it has be to be done very carefully, any misinterpretation of the information can lead any component of the marketing mix towards wrong direction. 2nd step in after segmentation is segment selection and making of marketing strategy, there are different approaches towards selection of selection, one, more or all segments can be selected for the target, and different marketing mix are made for each segment. Marketing Mix Product This includes the product description, its working, its brand name and positioning, its value proposition, how it is better than competitors product, and what advantages it gives to customer for increasing their value for money. What image we want to produce regarding product in customers mind. This may also include its packaging information and various packaging options can be given in this part. Price This part deals with the pricing of the product, how we are going to price that product, what is the relationship of price with overall positioning, how is price is going to be perceived, what are the discount offering and how we are going to bundle the price, these are questions that may be answered in this section. Place This deals with channel of distribution, what channel is to be acquired, how we are going to handle intermediaries, what role whole seller and retailer will be playing the distribution of the product, where we are going open outlets, what is the criteria of outlet selection, what convenience we are going to give to customer and how we are going to make the availability of the product. Promotion This part deals with actually promoting the product, this should discuss the sales promotion offers, long term or short term promotional strategies, integrated marketing communication strategies, media selection and its relationship with target market. Reach and effectiveness of each medium selected. A brief media plan can also accompany this section. Marketing Plan and Risks There are several risk that one can face while constructing the marketing plan, one of the risk is lack of required information, we need information from within company, we need information from industry and most importantly we need information from our competitors, this amount of information is not readily available, some time it is really hard to get secondary data, while have not sufficient information it is risky to make critical decision and that puts the entire marketing plan on stake. One another aspect of risk is the correctness and validity of information, secondary data is a good source but at the same time it is a risky proposition to make your decision on the basis of the information which is doubted to be valid. The above mentioned both risk deals with industry information as well as competitor information. One another risk is also there which is lack of understanding of information, that mainly deals with the customer analysis part and affects the segmentation that in result affects the entire marketing mix, misunderstanding the research or taking the research into wrong direction are main reasons with this. The final risk is the lack of managements consent on the marketing plan, in some cases marketing department works in on direction and entire company works in other direction, this risk also deals with non-compliance of marketing plan with business objectives. Marketing Plan-PEPSI PEPSI has been the market leader in cola industry in Pakistan, here their business strategy is low cost leadership, below presented marketing plan is made keeping in mind the business strategy. Company Analysis PEPSI has been the market leader in beverage industry in Pakistan; it has gained this position by leveraging first movers advantage and then maintained this position with its aggressive marketing and channel management techniques. Its strengths are a well established brand name, a well managed distribution channel, and strong financial backing. Its weakness are inability to cope with local beverage producers as they take them lightly and now they are becoming a threat, more over cokes aggressive marketing is also a threat to PEPSI. Industry Analysis Beverage industry in Pakistan has been a highly competitive industry since the emergence of other player like Coke and some local manufacturers. With almost zero switching cost, relatively very low differentiation in taste and wide variety of available substitutes makes the cola customer very difficult to make brand loyal. Increasing advertising and operational cost along with every day increasing power of retailer making the competition more intense where price and brand is not the only factor which can give them the success. Now the power rests with customer and retailer as there are many substitutes available to cola drink, not only direct substitutes but also indirect substitutes are also available when come to satisfaction of thrust. Customer Analysis Since company has been on mass marketing strategy then everybody is a prospect customer, everybody who gets thirsty is a customer of PEPSI, cola drinks are kind of product which is presented with food and to guests, so the main purpose is not satisfying the thrust but having a little bit more luxury in drinking. Keeping this thing in mind we come to know that cola customer will be using this product on some special occasions like family get together, or having food or presenting it to guests. So at while drinks are not presented in original bottle customer will be less brand concisions. Pakistani market is always been price sensitive, so is the case with cola. However it is highly affected by the availability factor. Competitor Analysis This is highly competitive market, with more substitutes and zero switching costs. During the last decade Coke has been a tough competitor for PEPSI, with its aggressive marketing campaigns, increasing and aggressive channel of distribution and a good positioning coke is emerging a well established widely accepted and preferred brand especially in metropolitan cities. Another emerging competitor is a local producer which is not really a major threat for PEPSI but yes it has all the capabilities required to become and major competitor, its brand name is Gourmet Cola, a private brand of a local bakery chain, this chain is getting being widely accepted in metropolitan and its growing like anything Segment Selections Apparently there are not much difference in the customer of cola, the same taste is accepted everywhere in the some variation, there is a minor segment which is diet conscious and want a zero calorie cola drink. If we talk about the segment selection then company should go for and its has been going for mass marking, standard marketing mix for everyone, for diet conscious customers diet Pepsi should be introduced. Right now we shall be talking about standard cola drink and its marketing. Marketing Mix Product The product is a standard cola drink, that satisfies the need of thrust and more it works a drink to be presented with the food and on get together occasions. It is positioned as a drink which relates to personal achievement, its focus will be I being the personal achievement. It will be positioned as drink of youth, the drink of successful youth. The element of excitement and emotions will be included in the positioning. It will be presented in various packaging, for example pet bottle, half letter, one litter and 2.5 litters, this packing variation will increase and help its use on various occasions. Price Since it has been a high price competitive industry, price of PEPSI will be kept at par of the industry, some discounts will be introduced in the bulk buying and on one litter and more packaging. Since colas are affected with the push of retailer, good dealer and retailer margins will be given to retailer and distributer, so that they can make sure the availability and push the product, since brand loyal is low in this product, retailer push is always required and helpful in getting the desired results. Channel of Distribution This part is one of the most important parts of the entire marketing plan. Here in Pakistan retailer has the power in the channel more than any other industry, colas has more substitutes, low brand loyalty and zero switching cost, customer will drink whatever cola brand is available on the retail shop, that scenario gives more power to retailer. So we shall be focusing in the improving our strength in retail channel, building the relationships with retailers, making sure the availability and leveraging the exclusivity on retail shops, and giving them more commission so that they can maintain the exclusivity and push the product to customer, once retailer push and exclusivity is achieved there will be no problem with customer to buy the product. Promotion This is another high importance component of marketing plan; more focus will be given on this part as well. PEPSI will focus on building brand and up to some extent brand loyalty among youth by focusing on its positioning and also by maintaining brand recall. More sales promotions will be offered during local occasions like EID etc. followed and good spend on the media especially during the promotional period. Mitigation Strategy There are few elements in plan that are of high risk, one the positioning factor that needs to be handled in a careful manner, the individual success positioning can turn back, on the other hand Cokes positioning is we the family and get together, if positioning can is not handled properly its can be a disaster. The second risky elements is the increasing power of retailers, we are at the same time exploiting the retailer power but on the other hand giving more power to them by adopting push strategy, if more and more power is given to retailer then in the end they will be able to blackmail us on their own conditions. To handle this risk brand should be build so strong that it can generate pull. Plans Relation with Strategic Objective Business strategy is cost leadership, since PEPSI is a market leader is has to maintain its position and at the same time they want to reduce costs. Now if we look at the marketing plan it focuses on the push strategy, building relationships with retailers, giving them incentives for push and winning exclusivity on the retail out lets, if this plan is executed well we can reduce out marketing cost without compromising or even increasing on sales and market share. This plan also suggest that PEPSI should get exclusivity on the large cash and carry retail stores like, METRO, MACRO Hyperstar where customers buy in large quantities, if they are able to do so their marketing cost will decrease and sales will increase noticeably. One can argue that plan also supports the brand building which is an expensive thing to do, I would answer that brand building and getting mindshare is something unavoidable, this is not a luxury spending of marketing budgets but it is in return creates the pull for the brand and pays in the longer run. Agreement and Plan Tracking The success of the plan depends on the total consolidated effort by the entire company that is why managements approval and consent will be required to get whole organization on board. This plan will be presented to all stake holder and if management approves then all other departments will be working on the same direction, for example if management want to cut cost then they are do so with a better management of supply chain, similarly other departments will have their roles to play in achievement of strategic objectives. Success of the plan will be tracked at every execution step with continuously monitoring, on the brand side studies will be conducted to monitor the achievement of brand related targets like top of the mind brand recall, retailer relationship management will be monitored that ho successful we have been bringing retailers on boards and winning exclusivity. A relationship of these tracking studies with overall market share and sales will be established that will determine the success of this plan, if problem found and targets are not achieved then strategy will be review and necessary actions will be taken to improve the performance. Conclusion Making a strategic plan is a tricky this, challenge is to keep the department on the track provided the top management while producing the workable and successful solution, at the same time direction of the other stake holders is also required to be in the same direction. While every care is taken even then there are chance that plan is based on some misunderstanding of information required or required information is also not provided, these are the greatest challenges that a strategic marketer has to face. For getting the plan worked a continuous monitoring is required on its execution part. Some very good strategies tend to fail while in execution, that is another care that a strategic marketer has to be careful about.

Harriet Tubman : Walk to Freedom Essay examples -- slaves, antislavery,

Imagine a girl and her two little brothers, toes on the edge of the sidewalk; children trying to cross a street. As a big sister, she must go first. She takes a few steps ever so carefully, looking both ways, showing her younger brothers the way. She makes it to the other side of the street then turns to wave them over, telling them to follow exactly what she did and they too would make it across safely. The two little boys take a few steps just like their sister had done, looking both ways, but they are very scared. There are cars coming and they feel they might not make it in time, so they hurry back to the safe side of the street that they had first been on. After the first try, the boys are too frightened to try again by themselves, so their older sister crosses the street again, takes the boys by the hands and leads them to the other side. That is exactly how Harriet Tubman lived her life. During her first plan to escape slavery, she went on her way with two of her brothers. Har riet reached safety, but her brothers had turned back halfway to freedom. After that incident, Harriet Tubman devoted her life to helping slaves cross the street to freedom. WeChat: Connect with Friends

Some of the website use their own language, and some use English. The most activity page Is Weight Indonesia; It has more than 800,000 Likes and 63 thousand talking about this. The second one is Weight India. It has more than 747 thousand likes and 7 thousand talking about this. Other pages have about 20 thousand likes. Some activity pages, like India, Malaysia, have different cover pages; but some, like Hong Kong, Australia, have the same cover page and most of the content are the same. If there is a need to separate Faceable by countries, It should every country character. If It makes every hint the same, it Just need one Page. Because It has 1 1 pages, I want to choose two typical ones of them. The Weight India page Is the most activity one. And it almost update twice a day. At first glance, we can see almost every post has picture with Weight icon. It is a good way to give new users the impression of Weight. The photos can help you know what they post. You even have no need to see the worlds up the photos. Weight has a function that people can build fan page in Weight about some topic, which Is Interesting or useful. Then people can get newest Information from that page or we can call It group. On their Faceable, they always post some Weight group, and promote you to follow the Weight ID, Like PER Cinema, or Colors TV. I think the reason why there are not so much replies is also because when people find a group on Weight, they would like to have a talk on Weight. It is a good way to appeal people to use it, but it also needs to create conversation on its Fan page. So that others who do not use Weight can know the opinion from those who use It. Those opinions will be the first suggestion for them to use It or not. To promote Itself, Weight posts their function and explain how to have fun with them. The conversation under this kind of poster has not so much replies, but if some one says he has problem with Weight, Weight will reply him with the solution. I think that is not enough for Weight to have interaction with people. They can lead some interesting topic on Faceable, not only introduce the function or follow some groups. Another one I want to choose Is Weight Taiwan. I choose this one because the posters they have on their Fan page. It not only talk about Weight Itself, It also post the conversation. However, Weight Taiwan does not have so many fans. It is not so activity like Weight India. It may Just post one for one or two days. That will not help it show up in public. Maybe because it is an App, so when people download and use it, they may not pay so much attention on its Faceable. No matter which Fan page, it always do not have so many replies. It is an important point they need to develop. I think when people have more replies and more share on Faceable, other who never heard about it can see. Now Weight is expanding its market, so it needs more activity. Another point I want to mention is that it has 11 Faceable Fan pages, but I think it need a main page for all over the world. Then on the main page, Weight can put the links of different countries. This can help people who do not in these countries can like Weight page and pay attention to what happen. Twitter: The same as Faceable, it also have individual page for different countries. Here is the problem, it do not have a list on its website of all Twitter it has. It has about 146 thousand followers, and it updates frequently. It rewets others' Twitter. Most of them are those people's opinion about Weight, like they can have group talk with friends or he can have free video chat with friend in Beijing.I think it is a very good way to promote their product. In this way, when people want to see the react of Weight and they find its Twitter and see these Tweets, they will think it is a useful and convince App. Here I also want to mention the Weight India. It has fewer followers than its main page, but it has about 10 times tweets. Weight is a Chinese app, wh en it wants to open it foreign market, India is their first choice. Now, India is the second biggest user of Weight, and because China use it own social media, like Webb, Renee. Then India is very activity on its promotion. On Weight India, it wets average 3 times a day. It will post some important event on both Faceable and Twitter with photos. Weight India is the only one has a Weight background picture. From this detail, we know Weight India is doing diligently and attentively. It has hash tag, and people always talk about how they use Weight; or when someone builds a group, he or she may washrag Weight. I think Weight can rewet this kind of tweets. It can help people expand their group, make those who have same interesting come together, also it can tell them use Weight. It can kill three birds with one stone. Not only its own hash tag, it also uses other hash tag to connect with other activities. Blobbing: When I searching its blob, I find it do not have a link to its blob. Final ly, I find All About Weight blob. It does not seem like the official blob post because it has no background, no other information. It looks like very simple and I do not think they pay attention to this platform. Under the title, it has one sentence: now we are here with a link. There Just one more blob, and others are exactly the same. If two places have the same articles, why it need to separate readers to different platform. Some posts re even in Spanish. Spanish is the second language in US, but it can't Just post in Spanish. They can have two posts with same content in different language. The I do not think it can typically representative the main idea. It talks about new emotions for Weight, why it needs to have tagged all, about. The emotions are different, but the tags are the same. At the top, it has a sentence saying: All you need to know about Weight: Readers from 154 countries as of May 2013. Where are the readers? There is no comment, no evidence to provide the dates. An other reason why there is no comment maybe the article is too short. The article is like posts on Faceable, not many words, Just a picture and several words to explain. When people first see on Faceable, they may want to comment, but if they see it again on blob and without any new, they do not want to comment. The article is not â€Å"news† for them. As I know from class, Weight India hires writers to writer about Weight every month, maybe the blob is on their country website. Actually I also see articles and news about Weight, but it does not have a specialized platform to collect this article to let people know comprehensive Weight. I find their official blob website, but it is aChinese website. I want to write about it because it has some good points. The articles are formal and have many replies. The Weight team posts these articles. All the topics are people concerned and they like to give opinion about these topic. It does not have tags, but it has classification. Then people can know the article is about function, tips or update. I hope they can work on this platform because from the replies, we can know there are many people following Weight and they must want to now information from official website. It they use it, they also need to change or update some things. It needs IRS or other ways to share the article, and tags for easy to search. Linked: In my point, Linked is a social media for career or company. Weight do not use Linked so well. I find a Weight Marketing Linked page. It has a big problem that it does not use it in English. I think if it wants to open its market, the first thing it needs to change is the language. I also suggest they can have a list of employees, especial like the CEO. Then people can see the size of the company or if they want to find a job in Weight, they can know who need to connect with.Weight almost posts rarely, ND I find some article even with strange pictures. The pictures have noting to do with the topic. In my opinion, the picture is also a media tool, and it can tell people directly. Maybe because the fan page name is Weight Marketing, it Just posts articles about marketing. It should be emphasis marketing, but not only marketing. It also can post the App itself or some interesting things happen with Weight. Under their products and services, there are Just two articles. From my experience of using this product, I think it can have more pages talk about this product specifically. In its Faceable, when it updates its App, it will have a post on Faceable to help people get new function. Linked can help people know what you have, so I think it is important to have a complete introduction of the function. It has Linked group with 161 members, but Just few of them are working at Weight. It is really not an activity group, and the nearest post is amounts ago. Weight need to pay attention to Linked because it is a good social media to promote itself. In its group, it needs to add more employe es and post more about Weight. Otherwise, the members talk try to make friends there.I know most of employees are Chinese, and they do not use Linked. However, if Weight want to have more users, it needs to take full advantage of social media. They can't be stuck by Chinese social media and culture. Youth It has Weight India channel on Youth. It has four parts, Weight TV Ad, Stars on Weight, Weight Global, and Weight Feature Tutorials. In TV Ads part, the most popular video has more than 3 million views, and the average view is 100 thousand. The ads are interesting though it speak Hindi and people also reply they think it's funny and amazing, and they want to use this app.It means the ads do a good promotion. Though I do not understand what they are talking, but I can know the story from their action. Weight use small interesting stories to tell people Weight is a very convince way to communication and many India stars are using it. Each part has about 50 videos. I can't tell whethe r it is lot or litter for it because I think as ad it needs to update and it will have new ads coming. When a new advertising showing up, if it can inform people to use it, then it is successful. Form the reply, we know the video catch audiences attention and they will try this app.I also think it can have a broad let audience put their own video. What does user do with Weight? It also can be interesting. Conclusion I think there has big space to improve its social media. First thing is its website. When people want to know a product. He must go to its website first. In Yacht's website, it does not have all social media it has. It also does not have a list of which countries can use its product. As I mentioned before, it need to have a main page for Faceable, Twitter. On the main page, it should have links to separate pages. The language is also a big problem.Weight tries to be an international app, so it needs to unify its language in English. To translate the media, it Just needs to have language selection at the top. Among all the platforms, I think they use Faceable and Twitter best. They update everyday and have reaction with followers. If I grade this company, I will it a B- or B. As a company, its social media cannot Just about one or two countries. India does very well, the Faceable, Twitter, Youth, and blob. It is activity on these platforms and does an effective promotion. However, in other countries Faceable, they seems like not pay attention to social media.Again the Linked is about the company; maybe costumers will not check Linked. They still need to fill out it. When people access to some technical, they may want to find who produces it, and who are in the team or what do the team create before. It should have a Weight Linked page, not Just marketing page. Its main market is in China, and Chinese has Webb. At first I do think it need to promote it in China because almost every phone has Weight. But now I think whether it is the first communicati on tool in China, it will need promotion and social media. It needs to have something new to keep people sing it.

The Fox and the Hound in the Walt Disney Studios John...

John Lasseter, now the famous Chief Creative Officer of Pixar and Disney, overcame failures and mistakes like everyone else to get to where he is today. He was born and grew up in Los Angeles, California. He went to California Institute of Arts. After graduating from school, he began working for Walt Disney Company. Lasseter was eventually fired but found work at Lucasfilm Computer Graphics Group, which also ended in a short time. After failing to keep his jobs, he sought for something new. This was when he joined the Pixar Animation Studios along with Edwin Catmull and Steve Jobs. While attending school at the California Institute of Arts, Lasseter created two Student Academy Award- winning, black and white short films called Lady and the Lamp and Nitemare. These animated films were his first animated movies. After graduation, Lasseter worked on the heart-warming movie called The Fox and the Hound in the Walt Disney Studios. He eventually left Disney and started his own career by joining Pixar. In 1984 he decided to work at Pixar Animation Studios for a month but he stayed and never left its side since. This became the place for where he found the freedom to produce computer-animated works like he’s always wanted to. After several years working diligently on another short film called Tin Toy, he decided to release the movie in 1988 . This was the first fully computer animated, three-dimensional movie to give Lasseter an Oscar. Pixar and Disney Animation Studios eventually
